community and club house with kiosk on the cycle path

the new community and club house in hunderdorf is intended to be a memorable and uncomplicated building. all sides of the site should be equally usable without exception. our concept envisions that all outdoor spaces – regardless of the individual user groups, seasons, and times of day – invite as much flexibility as possible for use.

the slightly rotated orientation of the gable-roof building on the site creates spaces with a unique atmosphere: the "village square side" facing the village, with a view of the church of st. nicholas, and the "green side," facing the fields and the danube-regen cycle path, offering an unobstructed view of windberg monastery. the hall and the adjoining foyer are located directly on the village square, which can be used for events. a kiosk is prominently located at the intersection of the cycle path and the main road. a covered open space and a small beer garden are located in front of the kiosk, and it also has a window into the foyer for catering. the southeastern lawn is equipped with wooden loungers and benches under trees, which can be used by everyone. to the south, a barbecue area is available for grilling. from there, the secondary entrance for youth and clubs can also be accessed.

the ridge of the wooden roof structure centers the event, stage, and rehearsal space, as well as the foyer. the building is a purely material-efficient timber structure with a visible roof structure. its characteristic features are the trusses made of interlocking, continuous solid structural timbers, which are connected at their intersections. this creates the gable roof shape on the outside and a barrel shape on the inside. the exterior and interior walls are constructed using timber frame construction.

bürger- und vereinshaus mit kiosk an einer radroute

das neue bürger- und vereinshaus in hunderdorf soll ein einprägsames und unkompliziertes gebäude sein. alle grundstücksseiten sollen ausnahmslos gleichwertig genutzt werden können. unser konzept sieht vor, dass alle außenräume - unabhängig von den einzelnen nutzungsgruppen, jahreszeiten und tageszeiten - so flexibel wie möglich zum gebrauch einladen.

durch die leicht gedrehte ausrichtung des satteldachgebäudes im grundstück entstehen orte mit ganz eigener atmosphäre: die ortszugewandte „dorfplatzseite“ mit blick auf die pfarrkirche st. nikolaus und die „grünseite“, die den feldern und dem donau-regen-radweg zugewandt ist und einen freien blick auf das kloster windberg freigibt. der saal und das vorgelagerte foyer befinden sich direkt am dorfplatz, der bei veranstaltungen mitgenutzt werden kann. ein kiosk ist gut sichtbar an der kreuzung von donau-regen-radweg und hauptstraße angeordnet. dem kiosk ist eine überdeckte freifläche und ein kleiner biergarten vorgelagert, zusätzlich besitzt er ein bewirtungsfenster ins foyer. die süd-östliche rasenfläche ist mit holzliegen und sitzbänke unter bäumen ausgestattet, die von allen genutzt werden können, im süden kann an einem grillplatz gegrillt werden. von dort aus kann auch der nebenzugang für jugendliche und vereine erschlossen werden.

der first des hölzernen dachtragwerks zentriert den veranstaltungs-, bühnen- und proberaum und das foyer. das gebäude ist ein reiner, materialeffizienter holzbau mit sichtbarem dachtragwerk. charakteristisch sind die fachwerkträger aus verschränkten, durchlaufenden konstruktionsvollhölzern, die in den schnittpunkten miteinander verbunden werden. hierdurch entsteht die satteldachform nach außen und eine tonnenform im innenraum. die außen- und innenwände werden in holzrahmenbauweise erstellt.
